After a daring and terrifying struggle with pdf (as a thing, not any particular pdf) and ‘embedding fonts’, it looked like Wild Land wasn’t going to be present at its own book launch.

The files were being processed, but too slowly. Problems popped up like gophers in spring time.
BUT DO NOT DESPAIR!
I have a plan b. Plan B is to use a local printer for the first 300 books (those that will be present at the book launch and that I will send to reviewers, etc.). It’s a bit more expensive, but they will have the book to me on time. I got the proof copy yesterday, and it looks awesome!
I’m getting very excited for the book launch party! There will be door prizes, booze, and lots of Christmas Cheer. Can’t wait!
